The Gala Turban is one of the most unique hats I have ever designed. The step-by-step assembly instructions included in the pattern are super easy to follow. You have also the option of a bow or not depending upon the wearer’s mood. You need to know basic crochet stitches as chain and half double crochet (tbl).

Level: Beginner

Measurements: Head circumference: 18 (20, 22, 24)“ / 46 (51, 56, 61) cm

The size in the photo is for a head circumference of 22″ (56 cm).

Materials: 2 skeins of Mrs. Crosby Dos Cabras DK, col. Casa Batlló, 85% Cashmere Goat, 15% Mohair, 140 yds (128 m) / 50 g 280 yds (256 m)

Crochet hook: US G/6 (4.0 mm) and US H/8 (5.0 mm)

Other notions: Tapestry needle, stitch markers, scissors and measuring tape

Gauge after blocking:

17 sts x 11 rows= 4” (10 cm) in Half Double Crochet
