Knitting Sheep
About me
Hi! My name is Carolina. I was born in Argentina, but in 2001 I moved to Valencia, a wonderful mediterranean city in Spain. I have always had passion for crafts. When I was 8 years old, I began dabbling in hand embroidery.
I attended a Montessori school. We practiced skills as carpentry, sewing, german pastries... and thanks to all those activities, something awakened in me that I continued to cultivate all these years. I graduated in journalism at Universidad Católica Argentina and I worked for a few years in the media (Cosmopolitan Argentina, Editorial Televisa, Editorial Atlántida, TELEFE, Radio Continental).
In 2011, motherhood turned my life upside down. Not only because I had a premature daughter, but also because she grew up far from the family. In those moments of uncertainty, I took refuge in my needles and yarn...
Without even planning it, Knitting Sheep was born.
I am skilled in crochet and circular needles. I have also tried bobbing lace, embroidery and macramé.

My obsession?
Making hard things easy so you can enjoy while crochet and knit.
My works were published in Labores del Hogar, Tricotar en Casa, Molliemakes and many of my favorite projects have been in partnership with prestigious yarn brands as Katia Yarns, We are Knitters, Lanas Rubí, Knitcrate, Borgo de Pazzi...Back in 2019, I have been awarded with a recognition at Creativa Barcelona fair.
Since 2018, I have been coordinating the World Wide Knit in Public Day in Torrent city, Valencia., evento en el que reúno a tejedoras, tejedores y emprendedores del sector textil.
I would love to do a workshop, invite you to a crochet & knitting party and share my knowledge and passion for crafts with you.
Will you join my "Cro-Knitters community"?
Etsy buyers spread the word:
The poncho is exceedingly beautiful- such wonderful handcraft! The wool is so soft, the knitting absolutely regular. Carolina is so nice, answered all questions, and her suggested regarding the size were very valuable. The parcel was wrapped beautifully with a small handwritten label. I can highly recommend the “knitting sheep” and Carolina’s work.
Best shop on Etsy! Soft wool bonnet and great fit!
This is a really lovely product, well-made, and beautiful. Also, for some reason, a part of my address went missing, so the mittens were sent back to Carolina - who couldn't have been lovelier about it: she stayed in contact with me throughout, until the mittens were located, and then sent them back to me. Great service - and many thanks!!
I love it. From beginning to end: the color, the texture, that it is seamless, the good work of the fabric,... I buy as little as possible, for ecological ethics, and what I buy is of the best quality, so that it lasts, and, without a doubt, buying Carolina this set has been a success!
