This cowl is inspired by the Spanish architect Antoni Gaudi. He had an innate sense of geometry and volume, as well as a great imaginative ability. He liked to play with shapes, many of them curves. This cowl is a classic and timeless accessory. It´s worked top down in rounds, in stockinette stitch with a lace border. You need to know how to knit and purl in the round, increase and decrease.

The pattern is a PDF document that includes written instructions.

Technique: Knit

Level: Beginner

Finished measurements:

Height: 10” (25 cm)

Top circumference: 20” (51 cm)

Bottom circumference: 43” (110 cm)

Materials: Mrs. Crosby Dos Cabras DK, Col. Casa Batlló, 85% Cashmere Goat, 15% Mohair, 140 yards (128 m) / 50 g

Needles: US 6 (4.0 mm) circular needle, 16” (40 cm)

Other notions: tapestry needle, stitch markers (10) and scissors

Gauge: 20 sts × 28 rows = 4″ (10 cm) square in stockinette stitch unblocked
