The Hollywood Turban is a beginner friendly crochet pattern. And it is also a quick and easy project to make for gifts, or simply to use up your yarn stash. It can be made with any type of wool or cotton.

While it is suitable for anyone, its specific design is appropriate for those dealing with the side effects from cancer and chemo treatments such as hair loss, sensitive heads, and feeling cold.

You need to know a few basic crochet stitches as chain and half double crochet (back loop only).

Sizes: Teens /Adult

Head circumference: 22“/ 56 cm aprox.

Materials: 2 balls Drops Big Merino, col. 7 (blue jeans), 100 % wool, 50 g, 75 m / 82 yds

Crochet hook: H8 (U.S.) / (5 mm)

Other notions: 4 stitch markers, tapestry needle, tape measure and scissors

Gauge
This design is not made to gauge. Instead it is made to measurements. One measurement for the circumference and another for the hat height. I like this features as it allows for all the differences in crochet tension, yarn weights and yarn stretch.
