You&#x2019;ll work in rows sideways, repeating panels that are connected as you go. You need to know how to make a foundation chain, slip stitch and single crochet in back loop and a yarn over a stitch. You also need to be able to follow charts and instructions carefully.  To finish off the beret, I will show you how to make a stalk or a pom pom.  The pattern is a&#xA0;PDF document&#xA0;that includes written instructions, links to special stitches and step-by-step photo.  Technique: Crochet  Level: Intermediate  Finished measurements:  Teens and adults (approx. 21-22" [54-56 cm] head circumference)  Materials: 3 balls Drops Merino Extra Fine  Needles: 4 mm / G6 crochet hook  Other notions: stitch markers, scissors, pom pom maker (optional) and tapestry needle for assembly and weaving in.
