The Amapola tee is an easy to knit design with spectacular sleeves. It is worked from top-down, in one piece and seamless. The body is worked in stockinette stitch and the sleeves and lower edge in pattern st in a combination of knit and purl stitch. You need to know long tail and backwards loop cast on, knit, purl, increase and decrease.

The pattern is a PDF document that includes written instructions, size charts and a QR with a video tutorial.

Level: Intermediate

Sizes (measurements are in inches):

UK sizes: –a) 8-10 –b) 12-14 –c) 16-18 –d) 20-22

Size: –a) 34 5/8” –b) 37 3/4” –c) 41 3/8” –d) 44 1/8”

The model in the photograph corresponds to size –a) 8-10

Materials: RE-TAPE CRAFT: –a) 6 –b) 6 –c) 7 –d) 8 balls col. 304 or similar as Camboya Mouliné-Effect.

Circular knitting needles: 8 (U.S.)/ (5 mm) with one 16” (40 cm cable) and one 32” (80 cm) cable

Crochet hook: H8 (U.S.) / (5 mm) (to close the neckline stitches)

Other notions: Stitch markers, tapestry needle and scissors.

Gauge: Before starting your project, it is important to make a small tension square to ensure that the measurements coincide with the 4×4” tension square.

Using the size 8 circular needles in stockinette st: 17 sts & 21 rows = 4×4”
